Laws and Modality

The DFG Research Group Causation | Laws | Dispositions | Explanation organises a mini-workshop on laws of nature and in particular on the issue of how to account for the role of modality in scientific practice. The workshop will take place on December 9, 2016 in Cologne, Richard Strauß Str. 2 and will start at 9am.

Travel Grants (Closed)
We will be able to offer a restricted number of travel grants (up to 250 Euros each). PhD students and advanced M.A. students are encouraged to apply for these grants by submitting a short letter of motivation (200 words) and a short CV.
